Kick-Off Event: Notenspur Night of House Music Application Opens on 4th June 2023 at the Rückmarsdorf Water Tower

The Notenspur Leipzig eV invites you to the official start of the application for the Notenspur Night of House Music on June 4, 2023 at 5 p.m. to music “From Baroque to Rock” at the Rückmarsdorf water tower. The popular Music Trail Night will take place on November 25, 2023. There is something for almost every taste in music at the kick-off event on June 4th. Professional instrumentalists and soloists as well as advanced amateur musicians of all generations play and sing. The “Jazzgarten – SaxophonQuartett” and the “Akkordeon-Ensemble Tremolo junior” under the direction of Christina Schornsheim will present an entertaining program in a relaxed open-air atmosphere. Interested parties can talk to “well-established” hosts and musicians at the Music Trail Night. If it rains, the concert will take place in the Rückmarsdorf church. Admission is free.

The Saxons’ love of music is proverbial, because music has been played in their families and houses for centuries. This long tradition should be audible and tangible for many citizens. In the theme year “The Whole City as a Stage” there will be increased promotion for the participation of the residents of Leipzig’s localities in the House Music Night. For this kick-off event, the Notenspur Leipzig e. V. with the Heimatverein Rückmarsdorf e. V. to promote the Night of House Music in the localities. The water tower is also open for viewing on Sunday, June 4, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Since 2015, private rooms have been open once a year for the Music Trail Night in order to practice and experience music together beyond your own circle of friends. All hosts make their apartment available free of charge. The artists perform for free and admission is free.
