Kia Unveils EV3: Compact Crossover Concept and Electric Successor to Stinger

Earlier today, Kia showed the electric successor to the Stinger that we told you about a few hours ago, but it also debuted a compact crossover called the EV3, which is positioned as the brand’s smallest all-terrain electric model, while at the same time draws ideas and design from the largest current model – EV9.

Like the other electric models of the brand, this one also follows the new design language of the Koreans. For now, the car we see is only a concept, although Kia promises that next year we will see a production model. It probably won’t be drastically different from what we see, possibly with more finished shapes and added door handles on the exterior.

Both the EV3 and EV4 will likely be built on the E-GMP architecture, which will allow the crossover and sedan to use the 58 kWh and 77.4 kWh batteries. We recall that this approach is also used in the EV6, where the same architecture and the same batteries are used.
