The carmaker ended the long unveiling of the new generation of Kie Niro with the publication of a Czech price list. As niro is only available in electrified variants, it is obvious that prices will not be low.

Niro is available in three trim versions – Comfort, Style and Premium. Together they have an army of security guards and driving assistants, which includes driver fatigue monitoring, active lane monitoring, lane keeping assistant, speed limit monitoring assistant, autonomous emergency braking and automatic high beams.

In the basic version Comfort in addition, customers receive LED lights, electric and heated mirrors, reversing sensors, a center airbag between the front seats, DAB radio support, touch screen infotainment and Android Auto or Apple Car Play connectivity, or height-adjustable front seats.

The electric car has a single-zone automatic air conditioning, a hybrid and a plug-in hybrid two-zone in all equipment. It also has adaptive cruise control and keyless access.

Medium version Style adds front parking sensors, digital instrument panel, larger central display, self-navigation, wireless mobile charger, automatic wipers, heated front seats, adaptive cruise control and keyless access for all versions, highway assistant, electrically folding mirrors, 230 V socket in the interior or ventilation vents for the rear seats.

Top variant Premium adds vegan leather upholstery, ventilated and heated electric seats with adjustable lumbar support, head-up display, harman / cardon audio system or heated rear seats.

In addition, there are a number of other driving assistants, such as a better assistant for driving on the motorway, a car approacher approaching in a straight line, blind spot monitoring with anti-collision system, reversing intelligent parking assistant or safe exit assistant.

The complete price list was also published technical data, which say that the electric version will be charged by customers from 27 hours 30 minutes with a cable to a standard 230V socket for 45 minutes, which should take charge of 100kW fast charger from 10 to 80 percent. The car can take up to 11 kW from the home wallbox, which will charge it for 6 hours and 20 minutes.

The range on a full charge should be 460 km as measured by the WLTP methodology, in the city up to 604 km. The battery is a lithium-ion polymer and its 181 Ah at a voltage of 358 V gives a capacity of 64.8 kWh.

Both hybrids have a battery of the same technology, but the plug-in hybrid has a capacity of 11.1 kWh. The technical data only show the charging time from a 230V socket, which is 2 hours 55 minutes. The so-called full hybrid has a battery with a capacity of 1.32 kWh.

Finally, fuel consumption. This should be 4.4-4.7 l / 100 km for the hybrid in the combined mode, 0.8-1 l / 100 km + 12.9-14 kWh / 100 km for the plug-in hybrid and 16.2 kWh for the electric car / 100 km. Niro can be pre-ordered now.
