The Korean carmaker is preparing a KiaCharge charging service. 160,000 such places will be created across Europe, and the Czech Republic will not remain impoverished.

And in partnership with Digital Charging Solutions (DCS), it wants to make it much easier to own a car in a socket. You will now only need one account on 160,000 public charging stations KiaCharge.
Kia says customers at major European charging station operators can charge without having to sign further contracts. A single card or mobile application will be enough for you. The Korean brand is reminiscent of a McKinsey analytical study, according to which the demand for public chargers will increase by 35% in the next ten years.

The new service also includes a website where you will find everything you need: charging tariffs, a map of the charging network and account management. In the mobile application, users will find real-time information on the rates of individual charging points. For using the network, the customer will receive one monthly bill, not a separate invoice for each top-up.
KiaCharge offers users a number of different tariffs. If you drive very few kilometers, you can only pay for individual recharges without a monthly subscription. Conversely, customers using their electric car or plug-in hybrid on a daily basis can take advantage of prepaid kWh and better rates.

During September and October 2020, the service will appear in seven European countries: Italy, Poland, Spain, followed by Austria, France, Germany and Switzerland. The United Kingdom will also see the last quarter of this year. Over the next few months, KiaCharge wants to expand to more and more destinations.
The Czech Republic will not remain impoverished either. According to the domestic representation of the carmaker, the launch of KiaCharge in our country is planned for the first quarter of next year. We will learn more about chargers and tariffs soon.
