Kia is gradually introducing a new generation of cars, designed according to the new stylistic language “combined opposites”. The newest representative is the Carens, a family car with up to three rows of seats, which is presented on the first sketches. But don’t look forward to it in Europe, the new Kia Carens is primarily targeting the Indian market.
As the published drawings show, the new Carens also bets on a distinctive design with modern details. In addition to the otherwise conceived so-called tiger nose, the newly designed bows are dominated by split headlights using LED technology.
The silhouette proves that elsewhere in the world, large cars like to be inspired by the world of SUVs. It is no longer a classic MPV, but rather a crossover. The sketch indicates an elevated stance and a fairly boxy body, slightly evoking the Soul model.

The interior will also use modern elements. The use of navigation with a 10.25 “screen in the center panel has been confirmed. In addition, the Kia promises a high level of luxury and, above all, ample space for all passengers, including those in the third row of seats.
“Kia Carens is a true reflection of what today’s customers want from their three-seater vehicles,” said Kia Chief Designer Karim Habib.
The car’s premiere is just around the corner. The new Kia Carens will be introduced on December 16, in the Indian Gurugram.
The fourth generation of Kie Carens will be the new novelty. The so far the last one was produced between 2013 and 2018when it ended due to declining interest in this type of vehicle.
