Three more regions of Ukraine may fall into the “red zone” of quarantine: Khmelnytsky, Cherkassy and Donetsk.
About it testify Indicators for identifying regions with significant prevalence of COVID-19 as of April 4, 2021, published by the press service Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
Thus, according to the Ministry of Health, in the Khmelnytsky region, the occupancy rates of beds with oxygen are almost on the verge of permitted (64% of 65% allowed for the “orange” zone), and the hospitalization rate is almost doubled.
In the Cherkasy region, the rate of detection of cases of infection was exceeded (22.6% against the norm of 20%). And in the Donetsk region, the detection rate of cases of infection is on the verge of the permissible (18% at a rate of 20%) and the level of hospitalizations is exceeded (65 at a rate of 60 per 100,000).
Note that now there are 11 regions in the “red” zone: Kiev, Zhytomyr, Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kiev, Lvov, Nikolaev, Odessa, Sumy, Chernivtsi and Chernigov regions. Other regions are in the “orange” zone. The only “yellow” region in Ukraine is the Kherson region.
We will remind, in Kiev from April 5 introduce a hard lockdown due to the increase in the number of people infected with coronavirus. The capital is closing all schools and kindergartens. All public transport – both surface and metro – will operate with special passes. The restrictions will be in effect until at least April 16.
Earlier, in the Ministry of Health OBOZREVATEL assured that the issue of introducing a nationwide lockdown will be considered when in the “red” zone will turn out to be most of the regions of the country. But given the rate of incidence, it could happen at any time. Does it make sense to pull?
As reported OBOZREVATEL:
-
in Kiev in connection with the strengthening of quarantine from March 5 blocked the playgrounds. As you can see in the photo, the playgrounds are empty and no one ignores the restrictions;
-
also due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, which is not abating, continued lockdown in Lviv until April 12. Mayor Andrei Sadovy noted that strict restrictive measures are necessary due to a sharp increase in patients and hospitalizations.
