Khloé Kardashian has admitted she’s been struggling to connect with her newborn son, calling the surrogacy process “f–k spirit”.
The reality star – who welcomed Tatum with her ex Tristan Thompson in July 2022 – revealed during Thursday’s Season 3 premiere of Hulu’s ‘The Kardashians’ that she didn’t actually record that she had a child until she arrived at the hospital.
“I felt really guilty that this woman just had my baby,” Kardashian said in a confessional. “I take the baby and go to another room and you kind of get separated. It’s such a transactional experience because it’s not about him.
She added that she was in “shock” at the whole surrogacy experience.
“I wish someone was honest about surrogacy and how different it is,” she said, making it clear that it’s not a bad thing. “It’s still great, it’s just very different.”
While speaking to her sister Kim Kardashian – who welcomed two of her four children through surrogacy – and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, Khloé admitted that the process had been difficult for her.

“Today paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” he said in a January 2022 statement, adding, “Khloe, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartbreak and humiliation I caused you,” he wrote. “You don’t deserve the way I’ve treated you over the years.”
News of the couple’s second child broke in July 2022, days before he was born.
Earlier this month, Khloé slammed fans for speculating she was back with Thompson.
“Stop pushing this narrative. It’s tiring. But I guess you’ll continue whatever narrative you want no matter what I say, so what’s the point,” she commented on Instagram, adding that constantly responding to rumors is “exhausting.”
The US Sun revealed in May that the baby’s name was Tatum Robert. Khloé has yet to confirm the name herself, and during the show’s Season 3 premiere, they bleep her name when she says it in a confessional.
