Khloé Kardashian shows her charitable side on the latest episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” when she reunited with a homeless man she’d befriended in the past.
The 36-year-old first met Shorty on the show’s first season and now that the series is coming to an end, she was making viewers really nostalgic. Particularly emotional: she contacted her family to find him an apartment.
She took in Shorty once before
After finding out that Shorty was supposed to work in a store in Los Angeles, Khloé went looking for her boyfriend, but the attempt was unsuccessful – before the producers tracked him down through the scenes shot last year.
In the seventh episode of the first season entitled “Helping Hand”, Khloé welcomed Shorty into her house after she found him outside her boutique in 2007.

Khloé went on a search
The sisters then gave Shorty a complete transformation, bought him new clothes, had his teeth restored, and gave him a haircut – but they later lost touch with him. The family had not seen Shorty for 13 years, and Khloé was constantly being asked by viewers on Twitter what had happened to him and whether he was even alive. Fans even tagged them on photos of him when they saw him on the street.
Now the Kardashian sister apparently wanted to find out personally whether he was okay.
Facetime surprise call
Khloé heard that he was supposed to work in a money exchange office in Los Angeles and drove there with Kourtney. When she showed Shorty’s picture to a customer, he replied that she should ‘run away’. ‘I wish you a nice day,’ said Khloé then and later to her sister: “What an asshole.”
The couple drove around for more tips about Shorty. Khloé then gave her number to a man who claimed to know him. And soon after, Shorty surprisingly made a FaceTime call to Khloe’s home and was actually invited to lunch by her the next day. When he showed up, Shorty told Khloé, Kim and Kourtney that while he worked at Flip’s, it was closed due to COVID-19.

The family organized him a social welfare apartment
Shorty also confirmed that he has long been ready to lead an off-road life. He’s looking for a job and an apartment. Kris Jenner also telephoned Shorty via video call and also pulled Kylie Jenner, 23, in front of the camera as a reminder that she was a little girl when they first met. “But this is no longer a little girl” remarked Shorty.
The Kardashians have now secured a social aid home for Shorty in hopes of helping him become more independent. “God works miracles,” said Shorty, grateful for meeting the family back then.
