Kharkiv resident played Russian roulette and ended up in the hospital – what’s wrong with him

In Kharkov on Saturday afternoon, September 18, a 42-year-old man decided to play “Russian roulette” and shot himself in the right temple with a pneumatic pistol. The victim was intoxicated.

An ambulance was called to the scene. This was reported on the page of the KNP HOS “Center for Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine” in Facebook.

The doctor and paramedic, who arrived at the call, provided emergency assistance to the Kharkiv resident. After that, the shooter was taken to the neurosurgical department of the hospital with a wound.

Doctors gave the man first aid

The reasons that prompted a drunk man to a dangerous “game” with weapons are currently being investigated.

“The Center for Emergency Medicine and Disaster Medicine reminds everyone of the dangers and risks associated with the storage and use of firearms and pneumatic weapons. Weapons are not toys! Be careful and responsible!” – added medics.
