Kharkiv agreements: SBU will interrogate a number of politicians

We are talking about an agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation to extend the stay of the Russian fleet on Ukrainian territory.

The Security Service of Ukraine summoned current and former people’s deputies, former ministers and other ex-officials for interrogations in criminal proceedings under the article of Treason. The summons are published on the website of the department.

So on August 16, People’s Deputy Yuriy Boyko and ex-head of the SBU Valery Khoroshkovsky are awaiting interrogation as witnesses. The next day, MPs Vitaly Bort and Dmitry Shpenov were summoned. On August 18 – the former head of customs Igor Kaletnik and ex-People’s Deputy Yulia Kovaleva.

Then, ex-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Lytvyn and his brother Nikolai Litviy, who headed the State Border Service, are awaiting at the SBU.

On August 20, the SBU summons ex-Minister of Transport and Communications Konstantin Efimenko and former Minister of Justice Alexander Lavrinovich for interrogation as witnesses in this criminal proceeding, and for 26 August – former Minister of Finance Fyodor Yaroshenko.

As a reminder, on March 11, the National Security and Defense Council instructed the SBU to study the circumstances of the ratification. the so-called Kharkiv agreements dated April 27, 2010. Soon, criminal proceedings were opened against government officials.

In this case, searches in the Rada, the National Security and Defense Council, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Cabinet of Ministers in this case.

The Kharkov agreements are an agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation to extend the stay of the Russian fleet by 25 years.
