Khap Maha Panchayat Supports Wrestling Players in Protest Against Accused Federation President

New Delhi | Khap Maha Panchayat, organized under the leadership of Naresh Tikayam, has started to support wrestling players. Khap Maha Panchayat was started in Soram village of Muzaffarnagar. Samyukta Kisan Morcha protested by burning the effigy of accused wrestling federation president Brij Bhushan Singh. Naresh Tikayat said that Khap Maha Panchayat will be organized at Kurukshetra tomorrow and Sonipat on June 4.

If Brijbhushan is not arrested by the police within five days, the wrestlers will go ahead with the strike. Naresh Tikayat said that whatever decision the wrestlers take, they will be with them. When the players came to throw their medals into the Ganga to protest against the lack of action against Brijbhushan, it was the farmer leaders who turned them away.
