The great director Khaled Jalal, head of the cultural production sector, the caretaker of the artistic house for the theater, and all the employees of the artistic house, mourned the critic Sebai Al-Sayed, who passed away on Saturday morning, January 21.
The statement of the head of the cultural production sector indicated that the late critic obtained a master’s degree in digital technology and its impact on the stage, and presented many research and studies, as well as translated many theatrical works, including “Martin Aslen” in the field of drama and the Ministry of Culture 1990, and “Patrice Pavis”. At the Crossroads of Cultures, Cairo International Festival of Experimental Theatre, 1992.
The critic Sebai, Mr. “George Savona” and “Ellen Aston”, presented the theater as a system of signs, published by the Ministry of Culture in 1996, and a book on Arab theater, written by Marvin Carlson, and published by the Cairo Festival for Experimental Theater and the International Center for Visual Studies, Cairo, Tangier.
