Khachanov Eliminated by Etcheverry in Miami ATP Tournament 2023

Russian Karen Khachanov, seeded No. 14, qualified for the third round of the Miami tournament, winning two sets to one (6-1, 3-6, 6-3) against Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry Saturday in night session, in Miami.

Khachanov, 16th player in the world at the ATP, will face the Czech Jiri Lehecka in the third round of the Florida tournament.

In the previous round of the Miami Open, Etcheverry, ranked 73rd in the ATP, had largely dominated the Russian qualifier Pavel Kotov (6-2, 6-2).
