Russian fighter Zubaira Tukhugov lost to Brazilian Elvis Brenner Oliveira at UFC 284 in Perth, Australia.

The day before the fight, Tukhugov failed the weigh-in. He could not meet the limit of the light weight category (up to 70.3 kg) – the overweight was 600 g. Tukhugov’s opponent, Brazilian Elwes Brenner, passed the weigh-in.
Tukhugov has failed the weigh-in for the second time in a row. So, on October 22 last year, at a tournament in Abu Dhabi, the Russian was supposed to fight the Brazilian Lucas Almeida, but could not meet the featherweight category (up to 65.8 kg). The duel was cancelled. Tukhugov, 32, who is part of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s team, has been in the UFC since 2014. During this time, he spent eight fights under the auspices of the promotion. Five fights ended in victory for the Russian, two in defeat and one in a draw. The last time he entered the ring was in October 2021, defeating the Brazilian Ricardo Ramos.
