Mangkunegaran Temple Leader, KGPAA Mangkunegara IX died in Jakarta, early this morning. Currently, the deceased’s body is on a road trip to Solo for burial.
The representative of the public relations staff of Pura Mangkunegaran, Joko Pramudyo, said Sri Paduka Mangkunegara IX I’ve been living in Jakarta for more than two months. The reason is because the Mangkunegaran Temple complex is currently being renovated.
“The body is currently on its way to Solo, possibly arriving this afternoon. He has been in Jakarta for more than two months because it is being renovated here,” said Joko when contacted by reporters, Friday (13/8/2021).
Regarding the funeral, Joko said he would still wait for the family’s agreement. It will soon provide an official statement.
“Later, it will be buried in Ndalem Ageng. If the funeral is still unknown, waiting for the family’s decision,” he said.
Regarding the cause of death Mangkunegara IX, Joko still refused to give a statement. In addition, the funeral process will be arranged so that there are no crowds.
“Later on a statement from the family (the cause of death). We have coordinated with the TNI/Polri so that there are no crowds, because it is still a pandemic,” he said.
