Companies, private households and municipalities in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district would also have benefited again from KfW funding commitments in 2022.
Last year, under the “Living and Living” category, there were 477 grants to “private customers” totaling EUR 16.8 million. The lion’s share of this is attributable to the KfW home ownership program at around EUR 14 million. Together with the child benefit subsidy, 252 residential units were supported. 260 apartments benefited from the topic of “age-appropriate conversions”, which also include barrier reduction and burglary protection.
In the federal funding for energy-efficient buildings (BEG), the 151 funding commitments add up to 30.8 million euros.
“Measures for energy efficiency are of increasing importance for the structural transformation,” says Klein. The KfW report counts a total of 14.1 million euros in funding for 2022 in Siegen-Wittgenstein.
