Kylian Mbappé was threatened with legal action for refusing to take pictures with sponsors a French national. KFCthe company, he explained.

Mbappe’s attitude was subsequently criticized. Alain Beral, vice president KFC France said they were considering legal action, although it is unclear whether it was aimed at the French national team or the club Kylian Mbappé personally.
“We paid for something clear. If necessary, we will demand our rights,” Beral said, quoted by Reuters.
However, Beral’s attitude was later corrected by his own company. KFC France said Beral’s attitude was personal, not representative of the company.
“KFC France regrets the words spoken yesterday (Tuesday) and reported in the media this morning (Wednesday). This is a personal opinion, but it does not in any way reflect the position of the company,” reads a statement.
“KFC France would also like to clarify that Alain Beral is not speaking on behalf of the company, but in the context of a private conversation during an event regarding his function as president of the National Basketball League.”
“Mbappe has refused to participate in team photo shoots and scheduled sponsorship activities, as he does not wish to endorse several brands, including fast food and betting companies, which have contracts with the national team,” the statement read. KFC.
