This area, which is visited by Gulf, foreign and Lebanese tourists, presents a clear picture of the poor tourism that this sector has reached in Lebanon, with the exception of some areas to which the hat is raised, such as the Batroun area, which the municipality has made a tourist area par excellence.
At the end of the week, a visit to Kfardebian constitutes suffering in the true sense, as its roads and public and private properties are overrun by groups of tourist intruders, and its sides are invaded by hookah rugs and a market very similar to popular markets.
All of these matters are done under the supervision of the Minister of Tourism and the municipality, which placed 180 personnel on the roads of the region on the day it was declared the capital of winter tourism. They were absent the next day, leaving the law of the jungle to control it.
The only tourist attraction is the “Mazar” hotel.
