Keys REIM, via one of its funds, and the company KNSA Hospitality acquired the operating company of the Mama Shelter hotel in Lille as a co-investment. The acquisition was made from Atream, Finorpa and the France Investissement Tourisme fund of Bpifrance.

With this acquisition, Keys REIM and KNSA Hospitality are now positioned in the majority of Mama Shelter hotels in France (Lille, Paris East, Paris West, Paris La Défense, Bordeaux, Lyon and Marseille).

“Our presence in the lifestyle hotel industry, in partnership with Accor and Ennismore via the KNSA company, illustrates our convictions for real estate that makes sense,” says Pierre Mattei, President of Keys REIM. “The lifestyle hotel business is much more than simple rooms, but a range of activities in the same place, mixed and more convivial. These new generation hotels mix clienteles, leisure or business, local or passing through, and create a link with their neighborhood. »

“We are very pleased to be able to integrate the Mama Shelter in Lille into the KNSA Hospitality portfolio”, says Steffen Fox, Managing Director of KNSA Hospitality. “The Mama Shelter in Lille represents everything that makes the strength of the Lifestyle hotel industry: an urban location intended for business and leisure customers while firmly anchoring itself in the local landscape for the benefit of Lille residents. This unique combination enables significant value creation for the operator. »

In November 2021, Keys REIM joined forces with the two big names in the global hotel industry Accor and Ennismore to create the company KNSA Hospitality, which today owns the operating companies of 25 lifestyle hotels in France and Europe (Mama Shelter, The Hoxton, 25hours, Jo&Joe…). A fund managed by Keys REIM is the majority shareholder of KNSA, alongside Accor and Ennismore.
