Tile, the world’s leading provider of intelligent location tracking, is launching its “Smart Alerts” that it announced last year. The new component of the premium subscription offered by Tile is intended to prevent users from leaving their items on the go.
Once the Smart Alerts have been set up, users will be notified if they leave their tiles behind after more than five minutes in one place.
This means that a user who, for example, enters a café with his keys, his wallet and his laptop (of course, each with a tile), but leaves this café fifteen minutes later only with his keys and his wallet, a notification on his smartphone receives that his laptop was left behind.
Smart Alert is a central function of Tile Premium, the subscription service from Tile. The additional functions include automatic battery change, an extended warranty and 30-day location tracking. Tile Premium is currently available for 35 euros per year or 3.49 euros per month.
