With the keynote “Microsoft’s security concept” Jens Grabow, Senior Partner Technology Strategist at Microsoft, Daniel Zyla, Partner Development Manager at ADN and Ingo Lingenberg, Focus Sales Modern Workplace Security at ADN will give the perfect start to the ADN Microsoft CSP Security Week on Monday (December 2nd, 2024) and show partners the latest strategies and technologies from Microsoft. Participants will learn how to effectively secure the IT infrastructure using Microsoft’s proven methods and respond agilely to current challenges. “Today, the topic of security no longer stands alone, but must cover various segments. That’s why our Security Week offers partners a wide range of different sessions from top-class experts from the industry: from protecting identities, using AI, to securing the Azure infrastructure, right up to the big issue of compliance. With the ADN Academy, we also cover the entire field of necessary certifications, including in the area of Microsoft Security,” says Ingo Lingenberg, giving an outlook on the lineup.

Tuesday (December 3rd) starts with Andreas Wach, Partner Solution Architect at Microsoft Germany, who will take on the important topic of “Threat Prevention”. In his session “Microsoft Sentinel: Revolutionize your SOC” he shows the diverse possibilities of Microsoft Sentinel for improving your own security strategy. In addition to a comprehensive introduction to the most important features and explanations of the role Sentinel plays in the modern cybersecurity landscape, he also explains how AI mechanisms and machine learning support advanced threat detection and attack prevention. This automation through Microsoft Sentinel and Copilot for Security can be a critical component of a comprehensive security strategy. Additionally, partners will learn how using Sentinel can also help them comply with NIS2 requirements.
On Wednesday (December 4th) everything revolves around security in the cloud and focuses on the interaction between security and modern work. ADN expert Daniel Zyla explains why securing modern workplaces is given such high priority during the theme week: “With the ADN Microsoft CSP Security Week, we are pursuing a holistic approach that covers all aspects of IT security. By combining Modern Work and Azure Security features, we create a comprehensive security strategy that protects both the work environment and the customer’s cloud infrastructure.” Many companies often start their Azure projects unprepared and encounter unexpected problems Challenges. Ben Bachl-Tanaka, speaker, trainer and consultant for Microsoft 365, Hyper-V and Azure, will then give a practical insight into the advantages of Microsoft Defender for Cloud in his session “Optimizing Cloud Security: Practical Insights into Microsoft Defender for Cloud”. In the webinar, partners will learn how the tools from MS Defender for Cloud help to effectively protect resources while optimizing performance. Bachl-Tanaka will not only explain the key functions, but also show how they work in the zero trust approach. Live demos also give partners the opportunity to see the tools in action and understand how they help improve cloud security strategy.
On Thursday (December 5th) the renowned data protection and information security officer and consultant Stefan Köster will give a lecture “Successful implementation of compliance requirements with Microsoft”How partners can efficiently meet IT security and compliance requirements using Microsoft Purview and Priva. Köster explains how these powerful tools support monitoring, privacy risk management and data lifecycle management.
