Kevin of Big Brother Celebrities “disappointed from top to bottom” by Camille

Kevin Lapierre left the house of Big Brother Celebrities, Sunday evening, after being eliminated by all the other candidates and failing the redemption test.

While he was at the center of a fairly strong alliance, the main party was foiled by Camille Felton, which ultimately put him in danger. This betrayal, which caused a lot of reaction on social networks, took everyone by surprise and led Kevin to elimination.

We chatted with the most explosive of participants about Big Brother Celebrity to get his reactions.

How are you?

« I’m great! I know the world wants to hug me, right now, but for real, I’m glad I was out! It feels good to come back with both feet on Earth and find my reality. I was bored! »

Have you watched all the episodes of Big Brother Celebrity during your weekend at the hotel?

« Yes! It was a big marathon! A lot of emotions. I really watched it with a viewer’s eye. What I lived, I did not relive it a second time! Of course, the last two weeks have been a little harder. But you know, I took it with a grain of salt anyway. Me, the way I see it is ‘What happened in this house, will stay in this house!’ It was from the perspective of the game. It’s going well, for real! I am really happy with my return. »

After your elimination, during the interview with Marie-Mai, you saw a montage of moments when Camille Felton spoke against you and announced that she was going to strategically flirt with you. Now that you’ve seen all the episodes, what’s your opinion about Camille?

« That’s a good question … Of course, when I saw the digest, I was wondering in what moments of the season each statement had been said. Really, I’m not necessarily surprised. I think what disappointed me the most was to think that I really had a great bond with Camille. And that is something that developed from the first weeks. We were together a lot. We were chatting, we had a lot of fun! I really considered her to be my friend. I have always been respectful, I understand his situation on the outside and I have respected that all the time. I never ran after him, or anything! She was really my friend first and foremost, and it really made me wonder to see that she was saying so much bad stuff about me! And the betrayal, as such, that I found it all the same hard. You know, when you trust someone and it turns against you that way … It was a big pill to swallow! »

Do you think that you will be able to remain friends with her following the adventure?

« I had a great time with her and that’s what I’m going to remember from my adventure anyway. I told her that I really cared about our friendship, before going out, several times during the last week. I do not blame him. Of course, seeing her do the little victory dance, after my departure, I still found it hard. I really found it boring to see that she had felt a certain pleasure to see me go out. That was still pretty rough! I’m not the one who will take the first steps when she goes out! I think she’s going to feel pretty bad after watching the shows, that she’s going to take the courage in both hands and drop a call and clarify some things. I anticipate that a lot. I can’t wait for it! We’re definitely going to go have a coffee. She is a super beautiful person. She is extraordinary, brilliant, intelligent. She will realize that, in fact, she may have gone too far. You know, she said to me several times ‘Be careful about the things you say, it can hurt some people’. I think that the main interested, in all this, it was her! I think she will find out. She is mature. I can’t wait to see what she’s going to do with it all on the way out. »

Last week I was chatting with Maxime Landry on leaving Big Brother Celebrity and he was telling me that he felt he had to leave when he realized that Camille was playing with your true feelings for her. Did you feel it? Did you feel sorry for his betrayal?

« Yes! I had real pain! I didn’t feel like she was playing with my feelings because she knew about it. I am a very expressive, very emotional person. I think you’ve seen it several times in the past two years with all of my appearances on reality TV. I have no problem communicating how I feel. I think it’s super important to express yourself. So you know, even though she was my friend, maybe I had emotions that were a little stronger than friendship with her. It was important for me to tell her so that she understood a little bit how I behaved around her. I know she has a boyfriend. I never crossed that line. I have always been respectful. I really, really, really considered her to be my friend! I trusted her, we had a great bond … It’s sure that with all this, seeing the episodes, it seems that I find it weird that she could say that about me! Maybe she was trying to justify herself? Honestly, I don’t know! I find it boring, and I can’t wait for her to watch the episodes and realize it all and call me to explain some things she had against me because I find it boring. I find that disappointing. I am not frustrated, I am not angry. Yes, it was sad at the time. I am just disappointed. It is disappointment from the bottom up. »

Do you think about Francois Lambert changed after seeing the broadcasts, where you could see his ultra-Machiavellian side?

« I was not really surprised! I got along really well with François. Of course he had his own strategy, and his way of behaving and scheming with certain candidates. I honestly watched the shows and thought it was funny! At one point, I even told him ‘Damn that you’re Machiavellian, François Lambert!’ He told me a little about what he was doing, but not in depth. Yes, he’s Machiavellian, but that makes his character so good on the show! As much as he’s a super good person, his role on the show is sick, for real! This is one of my favorites! I did well to stick with him in the end. He plays his game really well! »

Your attitude bothered the other candidates a lot, especially when you turned everything upside down and threw things in the walk-in closet and in the gym. Do you regret some of your actions?

« For real, after watching Big Brother Celebrity and having spoken with people around me, I realize that for all the frustrations I have experienced on the show, I have been vindicating myself all the time. Yes, I got on my nerves, yes, I was in cr * ss. It was a crisis! My arguments were good, I may have exaggerated my way of reacting. But my arguments were really good. It was justifiable, in a way. Honestly, I would do the same route again [si c’était à refaire]. The only thing I would change would be to keep Camille on the block and not have to use the only veto I won! »

These are the ousted who vote for the winning celebrity at the end of the adventure. Who do you think are the two personalities who will make it to the final?

« Me, I think there is a good chance that it is Kim Clavel and Jean-Thomas Jobin, or François Lambert and Jean-Thomas Jobin. It all depends on how the game unfolds for the next few weeks. I would really like Jean-Thomas to win! I find that his game is impeccable, he is unharmed. He thinks well, he speaks well, he manages the other candidates well. Really, it would be up to him to win! Otherwise, I think that by watching the shows, Richardson Zéphir is a crush! He’s sick, for real, he makes me laugh! If he goes this far, he will not have the choice to have my vote … if it is not against Jean-Thomas or François Lambert! »

Over the past few years, we’ve seen you on three other reality TV shows: Occupation Double (2019 and 2020) and The taste of love at Canal Vie. Do you plan to continue your career as a “Reality TV pro” after Big Brother Celebrity?

« Listen, I told myself if I won Big Brother Celebrities, I would use the stamp to buy myself a farm to move to Love is in the meadow! (laughs) I haven’t made it there! I think I’ll give myself a little break … of a couple of weeks! I think I have other projects! (laughs) Actually, I only had a month and a half break between OD Chez Nous and Big Brother Celebrity, I think I really need to take some time for myself and come back to Earth for a bit. I will focus on other projects and other opportunities that will open up to me. I think I have a great reception from the audience. And the world has seen another side of me worth a little more emphasis! I can’t wait to see what I’ll be getting into in the next few weeks … »
