This total of points is the fourth best performance of his career. This weekend again, the decathlete set a new personal best in the 110m hurdles. The latter achieved a time of 13.54, a stratospheric time over a decathlon. He had never done better than 13”75 in the discipline. By comparison, he clocked 14.02 at the Rio Games. This is a testament to Kevin Mayer’s mind-blowing progress in recent years.
