Kevin Jendroľ: Former Slovak Hockey Player Shares Pro-Russia War Video and Homophobic Messages on Instagram

Kevin Jendroľ, a former representative of Slovakia in hockey and last season a player of the extra-league Prešov, shared a war video in support of Russia and wrote homophobic messages on his Instagram.

In a video he added to his story on instagram, marked the TA3 television presenter Rastislav Iliev. The latter replied to his story and subsequently the two exchanged a few messages in which Jendroľ wrote “it works as it should in Russia, we should be with them and not with the Americans.” Last year in February, Russia militarily attacked our eastern neighbor Ukraine.

In addition, he wrote homophobic messages to a moderator who publicly endorsed the LGBTI+ community. “They shouldn’t go public with it and promote it, they should keep it to themselves or get treatment,” he wrote to the moderator.

Kevin Jendroľ is 20 years old and played two seasons in the Slovak hockey extra league. The first in the year 2021/22 in the jersey of Banská Bystrica and the one before last in Prešov. He also has three starts in the Slovakian under-18 national team.

We asked for a response from the Slovak Ice Hockey Association, after their response we will update the article.

See the entire communication between Jendroľ and Rastislav Iliev, published by the moderator on his Instagram:
