This summer, Kevin Holmén was loaned from IF Elfsborg to Örgryte.
Although Öis faltered in the bottom quagmire of the super league, Holmén put in fine efforts and was noted for four assists and a goal in 13 appearances before returning to Elfsborg.
The competition in Elfsborg is still fierce and therefore the club has looked at freeing up space for the players who are in need of playing time.
Bringing in midfielders
One of those who is about to leave again is Holmén.
According to information to Expressen, Elfsborg is close to loaning the midfielder to Degerfors IF in the super league, which is now coached by William Lundin, who joined from IFK Gothenburg.
An agreement is not at all far away and if everything goes as planned, the player could be presented this week or next week.
There has been a lot of turmoil in Degerfors after they fell out of the Allsvenskan. Players such as Diego Campos, Christos Gravius, Jonas Olsson, Gustav Granath, Joe Gyau and Douglas Bergqvist have left.
So far, sporting director Patrik Werner has signed two new players in the form of Wille Jakobsson and Adi Fisic. Kevin Holmén can therefore be the third.
