Kevin Hart is taking legal action against his former assistant. The woman claims in an interview that the actor has had an affair. Hart is also suing YouTuber Tasha K. She threatens to put the entire conversation with the former assistant online.
Miesha Shakes worked for Hart from August 2017 to October 2020. In an interview with Tasha K, she says that the 44-year-old actor had an affair. A preview of the conversation appeared on YouTube with the caption: “The interview Kevin Hart wishes never came out!”
Court documents state that someone contacted Hart’s team on behalf of Tasha K. This person reportedly said that the interview is “damaging to the actor’s reputation” and that the YouTuber “will not publish the interview if Hart pays $250,000.”
Hart then reportedly contacted the police and asked Tasha K not to publish the interview. The actor is suing his former assistant and the YouTuber People for extortion and invasion of privacy. In addition, the actor is suing Shakes for breach of contract and defamation and Tasha K for intentionally disrupting contractual relations.
“Watch the full interview on my website,” says Tasha K in response People. The entertainment site could not reach Shakes for a response.
