There is a lot of interest in Kevin De Bruyne. The Red Devil is named after three major clubs from Saudi Arabia: Al-Hilal, Al-Ahli and Al-Nassr. According to journalist Ekrem Konur, these clubs are determined to sign De Bruyne as his contract with Manchester City expires at the end of the season.

Large sums of money on the table

The Saudi clubs are said to be willing to offer De Bruyne an annual salary of up to fifty million euros. The midfielder has already revealed that he is not considering a move to the Middle East. He previously indicated that he is tired of the busy European calendar and that injuries play a part in his considerations.

Al-Nasr there would be a slight edge in the battle for De Bruyne’s signature. The presence of superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Aymeric Laporte could be guaranteed. A three-year deal is reportedly already in place for the 33-year-old playmaker.

De Saudische clubs zouden bereid zijn om De Bruyne een jaarlijks salaris van maar liefst vijftig miljoen euro te bieden. De middenvelder heeft al laten weten dat hij niet ongevoelig is voor een overstap naar het Midden-Oosten. Hij gaf eerder aan moe te zijn van de drukke Europese kalender en blessures spelen ook een rol in zijn overwegingen.

Voorkeur voor Al-Nassr

Al-Nassr zou een lichte voorsprong hebben in de strijd om De Bruyne’s handtekening. De aanwezigheid van supersterren Cristiano Ronaldo en Aymeric Laporte zou doorslaggevend kunnen zijn. Naar verluidt ligt er al een driejarig contract klaar voor de 33-jarige spelmaker.
