Kevin Costner has said in new divorce court documents that he did not have an extramarital affair, but added that he “doesn’t know for sure” if his wife, Christine, did.
Before the upcoming trial to determine child support and the validity of their prenuptial agreement, Christine’s lawyers have requested more documents showing Kevin’s finances, writes dir.bg.
Her lawyers want to clarify whether he made expenses during the marriage related to a romantic relationship with another woman, to which the actor replied that this was pure harassment and that he had no such relationships and she did not know about them.
Christine, 49, is entitled to a $1.5 million payout under the terms of their prenuptial agreement, which she previously indicated she felt “pressured” into signing. Last month, she was also temporarily awarded $129,755 a month in child support. (This decision is retroactive, meaning that child support will have to be paid forward or backward, dating back to July 1, if changes are made to the final decision in the case.)
