Kevin Costner releases song to raise funds after Hurricane Milton Costa Rica News

Kevin Costner, renowned actor and filmmaker, has taken a step forward in humanitarian aid by releasing a new song, “Find Your Way”together with his band Modern West, destined to support the victims of hurricanes Helene and Milton.

The song, released on October 11, has to raise funds for the charity Hope Force International, that specializes in providing assistance in areas affected by natural disasters.

In an emotional message shared on his Instagram account, Costner highlighted the importance of music in your life and his hope that his new composition serve as an emotional refuge for those going through difficult times.

“I have been through dark seasons in which I held on to the lyrics of songs that really helped me get through,” he wrote, emphasizing his hope that “Find Your Way” provides encouragement to those who “lose hope” in the midst of adversity.

The theme, the band’s first in more than four years, features hopeful lyrics: “When the darkness overtakes you, and the stars in the sky abandon you, and there is no shelter for days and days, I hope you always find your way.”

The song was composed by Teddy Morgan and Park Chisolm, members of the band, in collaboration with singer Kat Higgins, who also provides her voice in the choirs.

Costner has assured that all the income generated from the sale of “Find Your Way” on Bandcamp will be intended directly for Hope Force International.

“I hope this song means something to you and consider buying it to benefit the victims of these terrible storms,” said the actor.

Celebrities who have supported the cause

The solidarity doesn’t stop at Costner; Other Hollywood stars have also contributed generously to the cause.
