Kevin Clark was riding his bike in Chicago after one in the morning and was hit by a 20-year-old driver. The musician was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The exact cause of the accident is saved.

Clarke started playing drums at the age of three, and as an exceptionally talented child, he was cast in School of Rock at the age of twelve, although he had no acting experience.

Director Richard Linklater’s comedy tells the story of an enthusiastic rocker Dewey (Jack Black), whom he throws out of the band. Dewey doesn’t know what to do next, but he manages to break into a prestigious school without knowing how to teach or having any education. However, children are thrilled. He will form a band out of them so that he can win a music competition, while a tight director and hysterical parents step on his heels.

The film was a success and was followed by a theatrical musical and a television series. Kevin Clark did not long for an acting career, then played in several bands, most recently in Jess Bess and the Intentions.
