Again excitement about the cult film “Kevin – Alone in New York”: Only recently there was a stir about the mini-appearance of ex-President Donald Trump – now another fact is causing displeasure. Because an actress found out that the German dubbing of “Kevin – Alone in New York” a racist blunder has allowed. And even without any template from the original language.

Thelma Buabeng uncovered the vauxpas. You can hear very clearly that the German version uses the terms “Indian” and “Neger”, although there is no reason to do so, in other words: they do not appear in the original version – it is actually a very free one, and unfortunately also very unpleasant translation that is far from politically correct.
