The Basque group Olano and the Alsatian transporter Kessler announce the launch, next September, of the first own network for the transport, storage and logistics of health products, meeting the requirements of the ANSM and the ANSV.
The two companies are already working together, but from September they will have organized a network of 14 sites and will offer a health network capable of fully managing all flows, from small parcels to pallets, from pick-up to final distribution. “We will be the only network in France capable of ensuring control of the entire supply chain, 100% under controlled temperature (active dual-temperature cold [+2/8°C] and [+15/25°C]), with a level of security ensuring 100% traceability and 100% dedicated resources, so as to cover 100% of the national territory in D + 1 to D + 3 for Corsica. All with a guaranteed quality 100% GDP Compliance and SGS certified. », congratulates himself Philippe Kessler, President of Kessler.
Both companies will operate under the brand Alsalogpharma, owned by Kessler. Initially, they plan to provide around 100 employees and 70 vehicles. Alsalogpharma.com will offer a whole range of services, ranging from downstream / upstream transport, to logistics, to home hospitalization support with trained staff throughout the territory.
With this association, the Olano group has found a good way to diversify its historical activities: transport and logistics of seafood, frozen, fresh and meat products. Specialized since its creation in 1980 in the provision of transport and logistics under controlled temperature, the Kessler company has refocused on the delivery of health products since 2006 and achieves 80% of its 12 million turnover with this branch.
