Kesha and Dr. Luke ended the various lawsuits they had filed against each other on Thursday after almost ten years. The singer said she was raped by the producer, while he has always denied that. The two have now struck a deal.
It is not known what that agreement entails. The two both speak of “a solution”, but stick to their own stories.
“Only God knows what happened that night,” Kesha writes in the joint statement, as seen on her Instagram. “I’m sure nothing happened,” writes Dr. Luke in his part of the statement.
Kesha said in 2014 that she no longer wanted to work with the producer because she was allegedly emotionally and sexually abused by him. Lukasz Gottwald, as the producer is really called, has always denied that. Kesha and Gottwald collaborated on the singer’s first two albums. hits like Tik Tok in Die Young they made together.
Since the singer’s first statements, the two fought over a contract that the singer still had with Dr. Luke.
