Rissanen and Uotila have not previously commented on the reason for the separation, and remained silent about their separation for a long time. Rissanen opened up about his divorce on Instagram at the beginning of August.

Rissanen reveals that the decision to leave was not easy. The couple’s life situations and future dreams led to a difficult decision.

– We parted because of different dreams for the future and different life situations, in short. It was one of the hardest decisions ever. There have been good days since then, but also some really crappy ones. There is still difficulty.

However, he says that he is on good terms with his current ex-partner.

– But luckily we are on really good terms and I believe we will remain good friends, he continues.

Uotila is one of the following Dancing with the stars – about the program’s new competitors. Rissanen recently told Iltalehte that he wishes all the best for Uotila’s dance journey.

Rissanen also opens up about his real feelings in his Instagram stories. He says that the new everyday life still feels strange and he is trying to think about the direction of his life.

He says that he intends to invest in his own well-being and planning for the future.

– Sometimes I’ve been feeling empty and a little depressed lately and maybe filled some gap by being on the go all the time. But I believe that time helps everything and I really hope that in the fall new and nice things will come into my life!

Rissanen told Iltalehte a while ago that he moved to a furnished apartment in Helsinki’s Punavuori. The apartment is temporary for him, after which the intention is to move to another address.

– I’ve been living there for a year now and after that I’m looking for something more permanent. This is only a temporary solution, Rissanen told Iltalehte about a week ago.

Since the apartment is already furnished, Rissanen hasn’t gotten the perfect feeling of home.

– I’m looking for an apartment that looks more like my own. I’m having a good time, but since I haven’t been able to decorate myself, I’m looking forward to being able to design and decorate my own room, he said.
