Thiruvananthapuram ∙ Kasarkot will inaugurate the second Vande Bharat train for Kerala on September 24. Kasaragod – Thiruvananthapuram route will be serviced via Alappuzha. There will be no train service on Thiruvananthapuram – Kasaragod route on Monday and on Tuesday on Kasaragod – Thiruvananthapuram route.
As the train schedule. The train departs from Kasaragod at 7 am and reaches Thiruvananthapuram at 3.05 pm. The return train will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 4.05 pm. It will reach Kasaragod at 11.55 pm. The travel service will start on 26th. Tickets booked on the opening day will not be available for travel. The procession will be similar to the service on the flag off day of the first Vande Bharat, including representatives of the people, dignitaries and invited guests.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off 9 Vande Bharat services on various routes in the country through video conference after his Monkey Bath speech on 24th. Along with this, the second Vande Bharat train for Kerala will also be flagged off.
