Heavy rain is likely at isolated places. Heavy rains mean rainfall of 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm in 24 hours. A cyclonic circulation exists over the North East Bay of Bengal. Another cyclonic system exists over the central west Bay of Bengal. According to the Central Meteorological Department, a new cyclone is likely to form in the northwest Bay of Bengal by the fourth of this month.
