Kerala Government Nurses Association (KGNA) Responds to Complaint of MLA M. Vijin Insult

Kannur – The Kerala Government Nurses Association (KGNA) has given an explanation following the complaint of Kalyasery MLA M. Vij that town SI PP Shameel insulted him during the collectorate dharna held on Thursday. SI Shameel said that he did not understand that he was an MLA and responded thinking that he was the Nursing Association office bearer. The SI also explained that the Mike was seized because it was banned in the Collectorate premises.

The SI gave his statement before ACP TK Ratnakumar, who is investigating the complaint of M. Vij. The MLA said that the SI tried to cover up the security breach and demanded action.

There was a controversy between M.Vijin MLA and town SI PP Shameel who came to inaugurate the dharna. City Police Commissioner Ajit Kumar appointed ACP to investigate the MLA’s complaint. A report has been sought from the DGP Commissioner regarding the incident.
