After taking an early lead in the match at the Golden Jubilee Stadium in Uppia, Kerala surrendered the victory. Sajeesh brought Kerala ahead in the 22nd minute. Sajeesh connected the breakthrough from the corner with a stunning header to shake the net of Sajeesh Services.
Services equalized in the last minute of extra time in the first half. The equalizer was scored by a throw in favor of Services. Kerala leveled with Sameer Murmu’s goal scored by Pant Kithilan header which came into the box through a throw. In the second half, both teams played awake, but the winning goal was not scored.
This is Kerala’s second draw in five matches. Two matches were won and one match was lost. Kerala is third in the group with eight points. The top four will reach the quarters. Services are top of the group with ten points from five matches.
