Alappuzha: Kerala draw against Uttar Pradesh in Ranji Trophy cricket tournament. Kerala had a huge target of 383 on the final day. Kerala scored 72 for two in the second innings. Uttar Pradesh got three points on the strength of first innings lead. Kerala has only one point.

Uttar Pradesh resumed batting from a strong 219 for 1 on the fourth day. The visitors lost the wicket of Aryan Juyal who scored 115 runs in the morning. However, Priyam Garg and Akshdeep Nath broke through and advanced. Priyam Garg got out after completing the century. Uttar Pradesh declared the innings after Garg was dismissed for 106 runs. Akshdeep Nath remained unbeaten on 38 runs. In the second innings, Uttar Pradesh scored 323 runs for the loss of three wickets.

Jalaj Saxena, Basil Thambi and Shreyas Gopal took one wicket each for Kerala. Kerala lost the wicket of Krishna Prasad in the second innings. Similar to the first innings, Krishna Prasad was out for zero in the second innings as well. Kerala lost the second wicket of Rohan Kunnamel who scored 42 runs. Rohan Prem remained unbeaten with 29 runs and Sachin Baby with one run.
