The first 10,000 vaccinations have been made: In the district vaccination center in Kenzingen, the 10,000. Vaccination administered. By Monday evening, around 10,400 people had received a vaccination. The district vaccination center in Kenzingen started on January 22nd, 2021 and has now been in use for six weeks. Since the beginning of March, the vaccination has been running in three shifts, seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The former ALDI store in Kenzing’s commercial enterprise was converted into a vaccination center and set up in just a few weeks from December 2020. A call for cooperation met with a great response. Around 120 employees are currently working in the district vaccination center every day, including soldiers from the Franco-German brigade from Müllheim from the very beginning.
The management of the district vaccination center in Kenzingen is a duo. Andrej Hog is responsible for the organizational area in the district vaccination center, the medical management is carried out by the Teningen doctor and pandemic officer of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians, Dr. Dirk Kölblin.
