“Matsunaga-san in the Living Room” is set in a shared house where men and women of various generations live together, and the story of Jun Matsunaga, a straight-laced designer, and Miki Sonoda, a pure, hard-working, clumsy high school girl, sometimes clash and sometimes help each other. This is an “age difference love comedy” where they grow up and recognize each other. Suzuki Kentaro, played by Mukai, is a bartender who lives in a shared house, and is described as a “bright and cheerful person who is kind to women.” The main character, Matsunaga, played by Nakajima, has a “tacit understanding” of male friendship.
Mukai talked about how he felt when he received the offer to appear in the drama, “My manager called me, and I thought, “I wonder if he’s going to get mad at me…” and then he said, “The drama has been decided!” (lol) It’s my first time doing a romantic comedy, so I was like, “Are you okay with me?” But I immediately answered, “I’ll do it!” Regarding Nakajima, who plays the lead role, he said, “When I asked him, “Who is the lead actor?” he said, “It’s Kento Nakajima,” and I said, “Oh! Seriously!” I wanted to do my best and support him. I was so happy that I told the members as soon as the decision was made, six seconds later.” This will be the first time Mukai and Nakajima will co-star in a video work.

Miki’s pure side and Matsunaga’s meddlesomeness are new, and each member of the share house has their own individuality, so things went by really quickly. I finished reading it. I love manga that make my heart flutter, but I’m already reading it for the second time, feeling both excited and a little nervous, wondering if I’ll be in this (lol).
I’m also currently consulting with Ken-chan (played by Kentaro). I decided on the visuals after consulting with the staff, but I think there are some similarities to me on the inside. I think we have something in common, such as a sense of distance with people and liking people. This time, I’m playing a role with long hair, and my older brother has long hair, so I was taught the patterns of how to tie his hair, and I thought it would be great if I could use his older brother as a model and play Kentaro in my own way. Masu. It’s my first time doing a love story, so I’m really nervous.
I’m good friends with Kento, but this is the first time I’ve had to work hard at work, so I’m looking forward to it. Kento has appeared in many different works, so I think it would be great if I could learn about his acting skills and how he feels on set.
Both Kento and Takahashi-san said that they are not suited for communal living, but I am totally suited for it. If anything, I like it (lol). I’m often asked the question, “If you could live with any member of Snow Man, who would it be?”, and I’d go with all of them. I’m the type of person who can change my role depending on the person I’m working with, and I like cleaning, cooking, and talking to people. I think I could share a house with Kento, but I’m not sure who I’d like (lol).
As a member of the team, I want to do everything I can to make this drama a work that brings smiles to everyone who watches it, and a drama that everyone looks forward to every week. This is my first romantic comedy drama, so I want to have fun while acting without getting too nervous. I hope we can do it at a time when not only the living room of the shooting site but also the living room of everyone watching in front of the TV will be warm!

We’ve known each other for over 15 years, but this is the first time we’ve worked together, so I hope the atmosphere between the two of us will be reflected in the drama, and when we interact in a play, we’ll definitely have a good atmosphere. The way he communicates smoothly with those around him is similar to the character of Kentaro played by Koji, and I think it fits Koji’s potential and personality perfectly.
