Sir Kenny Dalglish has pointed to the vulnerability that, in his opinion, could undermine Celtic’s chances of coming back from the title race.
Neil Lennon’s men have reversed their catastrophic career with three straight league wins, the most recent at New Douglas Park in Saturday’s 3-0 win over Hamilton Accies.
The Rangers, however, have maintained a winning streak that has seen them create a 16-point gap at the top of the Premiership.
Celtic and Rangers are in midweek action against Dundee United and St Mirren respectively, before meeting in a crucial derby on January 2.

Parkhead legend Dalglish insists the champions must address their biggest flaw if they are to have any chance of a result at Ibrox.
Speaking in the Sunday Post, Dalglish said: “Celtic’s rearguard can seem vulnerable when they are defending set pieces in their own box.
“On the contrary, they are a great threat when they attack the corner kicks in the rival area.
“For example, you see the goals that Shane Duffy has scored with the head, and players like Christopher Jullien also contribute the goals from the column.
“However, despite their height and presence, they also concede too many at the end. It is disconcerting.

“The Rangers will do their homework before Saturday’s game and they will be ready and prepared.
“The fact that they have won the last two league games against their biggest rivals will give them more confidence and collective conviction.”
The Rangers won the first derby of the season 2-0 at Celtic Park thanks to a double from Connor Goldson, and have not lost any league points since a September 2-2 draw against Hibs at Easter Road.
