Kenneth Perez is lyrical about PSV striker Johan Bakayoko. The twenty-year-old Belgian is one of the two players whom the former midfielder enjoyed the most in the 2023 calendar year.

In Looking back with celebrities van ESPN Perez is asked about the player who has amused him the most in 2023. “Then I have two players, both from PSV,” he responds. “In the first half of the season that is Xavi Simons. And Bakayoko. He is a player about whom, when Paris Saint-Germain came, I said: to sell. He had hardly played at the time and I didn’t know him that much.”
“He is a player who has really arrived in 2023,” Perez continues. The Dane has nothing but praise for the Eindhoven club, which lost only one Eredivisie match last year. “It is of course great. The series in the first half of the 2023/2024 season… That is of course a series that you don’t see often. That is something that will stay with you.”
