Kendrick Lamar was headlined to the Glastonbury Festival Friday schedule on Thursday. The rapper is, after Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift, the third headliner to announce the UK music festival.
The organization announced the arrival of Lamar to the five-day festival on Thursday. Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Sam Fender, Elbow, Dua Lipa and Skunk Anansie are also part of the festival’s line-up so far announced.
In November, it was announced that 77-year-old McCartney will be the oldest headline act in the festival’s history on the Saturday of the fiftieth edition of Glastonbury. The following month, Swift announced to be the headliner on Sunday.
Glastonbury 2020 will take place from June 24 to 28 and was already sold out in early October. In the same month it was announced that 75-year-old Diana Ross will also be performing at the festival.
