There will be no Ken Sema in the Swedish squad.
The national team announces that he will not join as planned.
Gabriel Gudmundsson replaces.
Ken Sema has been pulled with a muscle injury and has not played a game since the European Championship qualifier against Austria a month ago.
Union captain Janne Andersson, however, chose to take out the 30-year-old, who played left-back during the last gathering.
– He is in sharp decline. If he doesn’t make it, we should be able to call in a replacement, Andersson said in connection with the squad release.
Two games on the schedule
Now it is clear that there will be no game with the national team for Sema, who is being replaced by left-back Gabriel Gudmundsson, on weekdays in French Lille.
“Ken Sema will not join the gathering as planned,” the national team writes in a press release.,
Sweden begins the gathering on Monday and meets Moldova at home in a training international match on Thursday. On October 16, they play away to Belgium in the European Championship qualifier.
