During training, the engine was damaged, which ultimately prevented the car from entering the race. Everyone expected Block to try to conquer the famous mountain in 2023, but unfortunately he didn’t make it. A snowmobile ride at the end of the year turned out to be fatal for him. However, plans for a modified Porsche were not forgotten.

The only sixteen-year-old daughter of the famous driver, Lia Blocková, who has been racing for a long time and won the American Rally Association O2WD championship this year, sat behind the wheel. It probably won’t surprise anyone that she didn’t spare the extreme car on the track, but she didn’t have much time for training.
The ride, which is another celebration of Ken Block, was made into a documentary about 48 minutes long, in which we can watch the driver’s introduction to the car and the final ride. At the same time, Lia got to know the car only two days before the race, so she only had two days for training, which she devoted herself to at the racing circuit in Colorado.
Lia Block was given another two days for testing shortly before the start of the race, which is one of the most demanding in the world. The almost 20-kilometer long track is dotted with a total of 156 turns and overcomes an elevation gain of 2,862 meters. At the same time, the narrow track does not leave much room for mistakes, which it punishes severely.
However, Lia Block was not taken aback, which is also shown in the penultimate part of the video, where we watch the view directly from the cabin, the view of the car from the helicopter and along the track, and above all, shots of the rider herself, which are sometimes alternated with historical shots of Ken Block behind the wheel of a pink Porsche . The conclusion of the documentary was obviously very emotional for everyone.
