The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) searched three locations related to the alleged corruption case of the satellite procurement project at the Ministry of Defense (Ministry of Defense). The three locations are two offices of PT Dini Nusa Kusuma (DNK), and one apartment.
The search was carried out on Tuesday (18/1/2022), at 15.00 WIB. The search was carried out by the Investigating Prosecutor’s Team at the Directorate of Investigations of the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes.

“One, the office of PT. Dini Nusa Kusuma which is located at Jalan Prapanca Raya, South Jakarta; Two, the office of PT. Dini Nusa Kusuma which is located at Panin Tower Senayan City Floor 18A, Central Jakarta. Three, the apartment belonging to witness SW (President Director of PT. Dini Nusa Kusuma / Expert Team of the Ministry of Defense),” said Head of Legal Information Center Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak, in his statement, Tuesday (18/1/2022).
During the search, the Attorney General’s Office also seized several pieces of evidence in the case. The confiscated items include documents and electronic evidence.

“The items confiscated by the Investigating Prosecutor at that location are as follows: three plastic containers of documents. Electronic evidence with a total of approximately 30 (thirty) pieces,” he said.
“The confiscated items will be used as evidence in the case of the alleged Corruption Crime in the Procurement Project of the 123° East Longitude (BT) Orbit Satellite at the Ministry of Defense from 2015 to 2021,” he said.
It is known that the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud Md revealed that there was an alleged violation of the law behind the project in the Ministry of Defense (Kemhan) in 2015. The aftermath of the affair made the state lose.
“Regarding the alleged violation of the law that causes state losses or has the potential to cause state losses because this court is then required to pay a very large amount of money even though the obligation was born from something that was procedurally wrong and violated the law, namely the Ministry of Defense in 2015, it has been a long time doing this. contract with Avanti to do something, even though the budget does not yet exist,” Mahfud said at a press conference at his office, Thursday (13/1).
