Kelly Clarkson has revealed her daughter River Rose was bullied at school because of her dyslexia.

On Tuesday’s episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the host was overwhelmed with emotion as she spoke with guest star Henry Winkler, who also has dyslexia and has written dozens of children’s books.
She shared that her eight-year-old daughter has been bullied at school because she is not able to read at the same pace as her classmates. “I was driving my daughter to school yesterday, and she’s dyslexic, and you told me you were dyslexic too,” she began. I find it incredible to tell my daughter that you have written about 40 books and that you are dyslexic because she is being bullied at school because she cannot read like other children. »
She added that River Rose was motivated by a lecture at her school in which she discovered that famous people had learning disabilities, including problems with reading, writing and spelling.
The Happy Days star responded by reassuring the new mum that her daughter was “part of the tribe” and sharing a message directly with the little girl. “River!” he shouted at the camera. The way you learn has nothing to do with your level of genius. »
