The American artist Kelly Clarkson (39) broke through in the early 2000s, and has since made a name for himself with hit songs such as “Because of you” and “Stronger”.
In recent years, she has also embarked on new challenges, with her own talk show “The Kelly Clarkson Show”, where she has interviewed stars such as Ben Affleck (49) and Sandra Bullock (57).
– I’m so devastated
At home, however, it has not been as rosy. Summer 2020 she divorced her husband through seven years, Brandon Blackstock (45), and has since fought for child care in court and had to fork out to the ex-husband.
Now the artist needs change.

Changes name
In court documents NBC has gained access to, it appears that the 39-year-old has submitted documents in which she asks to change her name to Kelly Brianne. When she married Brandon Blackstock, she took her ex-husband’s last name. Until now, Brianne has served as her middle name.
When she now asks to change her name again, however, she does not go back to Kelly Brianne Clarkson – as she was originally called.
Won in bitter battle against ex-husband
Instead, she turns the middle name into a surname, and moves away from the family name Clarkson. Whether she will continue to go under Clarkson professionally is uncertain.
In the documents, the artist must have justified the choice of name by saying that it fits better with the person she is today.

Takes over after the talk show queen
As mentioned, it is not just music that occupies the 39-year-old. In 2019, she entered the talk show world with “The Kelly Clarkson Show” – and last year it became known that she takes over from Ellen DeGeneres (64) who resigns after 17 years as host of America’s, if not the world’s most popular talk show.
This is not about Clarkson taking over “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, but about her own talk show taking over the broadcast time.

Even before it became known that Clarkson would take over, there were rumors that the broadcasters were sniffing at moving the time on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” to “Ellens” fixed hour, according to TMZ.
The artist knocked out DeGeneres during the Emmy awards in 2020, which of course made her a good candidate.
