Kelly Clarkson’s home appears to have become a magnet for unwanted visitors, as the artist has asked the judge for court-ordered protection from a man she claims has recently appeared multiple times at her home.
According to legal documents, the artist has filed for a temporary restraining order against a man named Victor Fernandez, and Kelly also wants to protect his family, nanny and house manager.
The singer’s head of security, Michael Lopez, says Fernandez first showed up at Kelly’s house on Thanksgiving, got into a van and peeked into her privacy gate and backyard. Lopez says Fernandez came back two more times on Thanksgiving, once in the pickup. he foot, rings the bell and claims he was there to see Kelly.
Another member of Kelly’s security team, who says they spoke to Fernandez over the camera system, says Fernandez appeared annoyed and confused when he wasn’t allowed in, stating, “This is the second time I’ve do”.
The singer is asking a judge to keep Fernandez at least 100 yards away from her home, work, car, school and childcare, and Kelly says she’s afraid of what Fernandez might do and fears it could cause harm to her or her family.
